Another type of metal sheets are produced to prevent oxidation and corrosion. Although these products are expensive for industrial use, they are suitable for many jobs and environments that are exposed to acid and water due to a waterproof coating. Currently, the cheapest solution to prevent iron sheet from oxidizing is galvanizing. To produce these products, oiled sheets are used as a base sheet. The production method is that first they melt the oily steel sheets in the furnace and then pour it on a special mold according to the standard thickness of a metal sheet. Finally, both sides of the sheet are covered with galvanized glaze. These products are resistant to corrosion, scratches and impact. Among the applications of galvanized steel sheets, we can mention their use for producing water pipes, making cabinets, using them for water storage tanks, and producing shed roofs.
